Initial Design vs. Final Design - Let's Discuss some Modifications

The original design of the headband featured electronic components that were dispersed along its length. However, due to the complexity of wiring all of the various components, the layout underwent modifications. The figure below illustrates the initial design of the impact detection device.

To facilitate easy access in the event of the battery needing to be charged or the ESP32 requiring reprogramming, the ESP32 and battery pack were relocated to the right side of the headband. An integrated power button was incorporated into the battery pack, resulting in the removal of the extra power button. The ADXL375 and GY-521 MPU 6050 were positioned together on the left side of the headband because they share wires that connect to the microcontroller. To eliminate redundant data, one FSR was removed and placed near the top of the headband at the front. It's worth noting that all of the electronic components were fixed to a separate sleeve that could be slid in and out of the headband. Additionally, Velcro was added to the end of the headband to simplify opening and closing it. A diagram of the final design can be seen below.
